The lighthouse at Cape Verudica is located on the namesake cape opposite the island of Veruda, south of Pula. It is surrounded by a forest and clear waters within the tourist resort of Punta Verudela.
The lighthouse was built in 1877. It consists of an 8-meter-high square stone tower and a ground-floor building with a total area of 50 m². The lighthouse complex includes a storage room, a small utility room, and an enclosed courtyard. The lighthouse building is powered by the public electricity grid and is supplied with water from the city waterworks. Like most lighthouses on the Adriatic, it is fully automated and has not had a lighthouse keeper crew for many years.
